Roger Woolston was brought up remotely on a farm in Taumarunui the heart of the north island, he left school to train as an apprentice cabinetmaker then onto his OE working as the resident cabinetmaker in Yallingup Galleries, Australia.
Returning to NZ to work in the super yacht industry before running his own Cabinet workshop in Raglan for the past 14 years, where he settled down with his partner and three sons converting a 50’s woolshed into their home and making pieces of furniture for his local community and surrounds.
With a passion for art Roger started with a yearly exhibition on the Raglan arts trail and now is spreading his wings further afar with chosen galleries within NZ.
Repurposing forgotten treasures and beautiful pieces of wood with a twist of fun and thoughtfulness.
